Shab-e-Qadar

Shab-e-Qadar is one of the most important and significant nights in the Islamic calendar.The Night of Power is also known as Lailatul Qadr, which means “the Night of Power”. It is believed to be the night on which the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The significance of Shab-e-Qadar is:

Spiritual significance:

In Islam Shab-e-Qadar is considere a night of great spiritual significance. On this night, the Muslims believe that gates of heaven are opene and prayers are more likely to be answere. Therefore, Muslims spend the night in prayer, supplication, and remembrance of Allah.

Forgiveness of sins:

On this night,it is belives that Allah forgives the sins of those who seek forgiveness with sincerity and repentance. Muslims are encourage to spent the night in prayer and seek forgiveness for their sins.

The revelation of the Quran:

The revelation of the Quran began on this night, which makes it a night of great historical significance. Therefore, Muslims use this night to recite and reflect on the Quran.

Night of blessings:

Muslims believe that Shab-e-Qadar is a night of great blessings. They spend the night in prayer, seeking the blessings of Allah. The blessings of this night are greater than a thousand months.

Night of salvation:

It is believe that those who spend the night in worship and prayer on Shab-e-Qadar will save from the punishment of Hellfire. Therefore, Muslims are encourage to spend the night in worship and seek salvation from Allah.

: شب قدر کی نشانیاں اور ان کا مشاہدہ

اُس کی عَلامات میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ وہ مُبارَک شب کُھلی ہوئی ، روشن اور بِالکل صاف وشَفّاف ہوتی ہے ۔ اِس میں نہ زیادہ گرمی ہوتی ہے نہ زیادہ سَردی بلکہ یہ رات مُعتَدِل ہوتی ہے ، گویا کہ اِس میں چاند کُھلا ہوا ہوتا ہے ، اِس پُوری رات میں شیاطِین کو آسمان کے سِتارے نہیں مارے جاتے ۔ مزید نِشانیوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ اِس رات کے گُزرنے کے بعد جو صُبح آتی ہے اُس میں سُورج بِغیر شُعاع کے طُلوع ہوتا ہے اور وہ ایسا ہوتا ہے گویا کہ چودھویں کا چاند ۔ اللہ پاک نے اِس دِن طُلوعِ آفتاب کے ساتھ شیطان کو نِکلنے سے روک دیا ہے ۔ (اِس ایک دِن کے عِلاوہ ہر روز سُورج کے ساتھ ساتھ شیطان بھی نِکلتا ہے ۔ 

In conclusion, Shab-e-Qadar is a night of great significance for Muslims. It is a night of spiritual awakening, forgiveness, blessings, and salvation. Muslims are encourage to spend the night in worship, seek the blessings and forgiveness of Allah.
